The school focuses on Kofukan Shito-Ryu karate, a style formed in 1931 by Kenwa Mabuni and recognized as one of the four major karate styles by the World Karate Federation, alongside Shotokan, Goju-Ryu, and Wado-Ryu. This style emphasizes body mechanics, features a relatively high stance for mobility and speed, incorporates a double hip twist for powerful strikes, and preserves original Shuri-te techniques with fast, straight movements and Naha-te techniques with circular, supple movements.[1][2]
